Carol'S No-Fail Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat 1 large can of cherries or any other type of fruit, juice and all.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Melt 1 stick of butter in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Pour the mixed batter over the top of the melted butter, then pour hot fruit over batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
