Garden Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup salad oil
    3/4 cup vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. water
    1 can french style green beans
    1 can English peas
    1 can shoepeg corn
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped green pepper
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 small jar pimento
Preparation
    Bring sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, water to boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool.
    Drain canned vegetables.
    Mix all vegetables. Pour cooled liquid over vegetables.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
    Will keep a week.
