Ingredients

2 c. apple jelly
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 (5 to 7 lb.) smoked, fully cooked ham half
whole cloves
fresh parsley sprigs (optional)
Preparation

Combine the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Set aside.
Slice away skin from ham.
Score fat on ham in diamond design and stud with whole cloves.
Place ham, fat side up, on rack in a shallow roasting pan.
Insert meat thermometer, making sure it does not touch fat or bone.
Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Baste every 15 to 20 minutes with sauce.
Yields 10 to 14 servings.
