Emporium Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck or round
    4 medium onions, chopped
    1/2 c. good cooking oil
    3 lb. tomato puree
    3 lb. cooked kidney beans
    3 cloves garlic, mashed
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    2 Tbsp. m.s.g.
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
Preparation
    Lightly brown onions and meat; break up meat in small pieces. Add puree and everything except kidney beans.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add beans; cook 5 minutes longer.
    Serves 8 to 10.
