Mile High Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked (9-inch) pie shell or crumb crust
Preparation
    Whip together the berries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and salt for 15 minutes with electric mixer.
    Whip the cream; add vanilla and fold into strawberry mixture.
    Pour into pie shell. Freeze.
    Top with additional berries to serve.
