Honey Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Toast pecans in moderate oven (350\u00b0) 10 minutes, stirring once.
Butter sides of heavy 2-quart saucepan.
Combine sugar, water, honey, salt and cinnamon.
Heat and stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to boiling.
Cook to soft ball stage (236\u00b0), without stirring.
Remove from heat; beat until mixture begins to get creamy.
Add vanilla and nuts; stir gently until nuts are well coated and mixture becomes thick.
Turn out on buttered baking sheet.
With 2 forks, separate nuts at once.
