Ingredients

5 large cooking pears or apples, sliced thin
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. rolled oats, uncooked
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened and cut into small pieces
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Place pears or apples in greased, shallow 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
Pour water over your sliced pears or apples.
