Purdue Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. soda
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. ground pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; dissolve soda in sour cream; add with all remaining ingredients to creamed mixture and beat until well blended.
Pour into 8 or 9-inch tube pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
