Pennsylvania Dutch Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. unsifted flour
    2 1/2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 c. King syrup
    1/2 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
    3 eggs
    2 c. hot water
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine the first 3 ingredients; reserve 1 1/2 cups for topping.
    Mix crumbs with liquid ingredients.
    Put into prepared raw pie crust.
    Top with reserved crumbs.
    This makes a wet bottom pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Makes two 9-inch pies.
