Chicken And Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 whole chicken, cut up
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. raw brown rice
    1 can chicken broth
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In a 6-quart Dutch oven, over medium heat, in the oil, brown the chicken on both sides.
    Remove the chicken from the pan.
