Lemon Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 egg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
Preparation

Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until well blended.
Add lemon rind, lemon juice and next 3 ingredients; beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well.
Add oats; mix well.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets coated with vegetable cooking spray.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
Yields 40 cookies.
