Meringue Jewels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foam is stiff.
Gradually add sugar. Continue until egg whites form stiff peaks.
Add vanilla, then nuts.
Drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until light or golden brown.
