Cherry Cobbler Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick butter (room temperature)
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease an 11 x 7-inch pan.
    Mix flour and baking powder.
    In a large bowl, beat butter and confectioners sugar with electric beater.
    Beat in egg and lemon peel.
    Mix on low and gradually add flour.
    Remove 2/3 cup of dough.
