Soft Caraway Rye Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. caraway seed
2 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. rye flour
course pretzel salt
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar and salt.
Mix the two types of flour and the caraway seed together and add to the warm yeast liquid.
The dough will be stiff; knead about 5 minutes, then divide it into 12 pieces.
Roll each piece into a long rope and form into a pretzel.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Brush with water and sprinkle with salt.
Do not let dough rise.
Bake at 475\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
