Quick Danish Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1 stick butter (not margarine)
    1 c. water
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring water to boil. Add butter. Stir and simmer until butter melts. Remove from heat and add almond extract. Stir in flour until blended. Return to low heat; cook and stir 1 minute or until dough follows spoon around pan. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Beat well after each addition until well combined. Spread evenly over crust in pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes, until brown. Remove to rack to cool. (Pastry will fall, forming custard like filling.) Spread with Sugar Glaze.
