Swedish Rye Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. molasses
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
4 c. white flour
2 c. rye flour
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Pour boiling water over molasses, oatmeal, brown sugar and shortening.
Mix well and let stand until lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Mix together.
Gradually add flour, rye flour and salt.
Knead well.
Let rise in warm place.
Form into 2 loaves.
Let rise again.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serve proudly.
