Barbecue Seasoning - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 ketchup (1 1/2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 Tbsp. Texas Pete
    3 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
    3 Tbsp. Heinz 57
    3 to 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Saute onions until brown. Combine all ingredients in large pot and bring to a simmer. Do not boil. Makes about 2 quarts. Keep in refrigerator up to 10 weeks.
