Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple (drained)
    5 bananas (sliced)
    2 (16 oz.) cool whip
    3 small boxes vanilla instant pudding
    1 pkg. chopped pecans
    1 pkg. coconut
    1 jar cherries
Preparation
    Bake yellow cake mix as directed on box in a 9x13 pan.
    Let cool then crumble half cake in a punch bowl.
    Prepare pudding according to box.
    Layer on top of cake with half of the cherry pie filling, half of the pudding, half of the pineapple, half of the bananas, and half of the cool whip.
    Repeat layers starting with the cake.
    Garnish with chopped pecans, coconut and cherries.
