Pickled Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. green beans, cut in 2-inch lengths
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    4 heads dill
    4 cloves garlic
    3 c. water
    3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Wash, drain and cut up beans.
    Pack beans, lengthwise, into jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
    To each pint, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head dill.
    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Pour boiling hot water over beans, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
    Adjust lids.
    Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
    Yields about 4 pints.
