Christmas Morning Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices white bread
    8 eggs, beaten
    4 c. milk
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. bacon, crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Remove crust from bread.
    Cut bread into cubes.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
    Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Mix well.
    Pour over bread.
    Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Sprinkle with bacon.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Serve immediately.
