Chocolate Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 c. chocolate chips, melted
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Cream butter or shortening. Gradually add brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add beaten eggs and blend well.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with banana pulp, a little at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth. Pour half of batter in well-greased 8-inch square pan.
    Melt chocolate chips in a saucepan and spread over batter. Cover with remaining batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
    Frost with Butter Frosting.
