Sausage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage in casings
    8 to 10 potatoes
    3 to 4 carrots
    1 can peas
    2 to 3 large cans tomato puree or sauce
Preparation
    Cut sausage, potatoes and carrots into bite size pieces. Simmer sausage until done in a deep pot.
    Add potatoes and enough tomato puree or sauce to cover.
    Cook over low heat for 1/2 hour. Keep it covered.
    Drain peas.
    Add peas and carrots and cook, covered, over low heat until all are tender.
