Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut up fine or grated
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    about 6 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Stir together flour, sugar and salt.
    Mix with pastry cutter or by hand:
    cheese, butter and dry ingredients.
    Add water slowly, just enough to hold the dough together.
    Roll out part of the dough on a floured board.
    The dough should be as thin as a pie crust. Cut into strips.
    Place on a cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or until strips are lightly brown.
    Good with salads or snacks.
