Chewy Pecan Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Melt oleo and sugar together in saucepan.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift in flour and cocoa; add pecans.
Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Start in cold oven.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, careful not to overbake.
