Chops And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 chops (pork)
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Brown meat.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add onion on top and water.
Cover skillet; simmer until tender.
Drain off excess fat.
Add 1 1/2 to 3 cups water.
Meanwhile, make dumplings.
Stir milk and flour, only until blended.
Drop by spoonfuls onto hot meat (not in the liquid).
Cook 10 minutes uncovered, then cover tightly and cook 10 minutes longer.
Thicken liquid with flour for gravy.
