Apricot Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. apricot preserves (1 1/2 c. or more)
Preparation

Cream real butter and cream cheese.
Add sugar gradually, beating well after each addition.
Add eggs and beat slightly. Add milk, to which vanilla has been added.
Blend, then add dry ingredients.
Spread 1/2 batter into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Spread with apricot preserves.
Spread rest of batter over this.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
Top with Lazy-Daisy frosting using real butter for best flavor.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
