French Bread With Herb Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped dill, chervil or tarragon
    1 lb. unsalted butter
    1 pkg. French bread
Preparation
    To make
    herb butter, chop all herbs in food processor. Add softened
    butter and mix together.
    Pack into crocks.
    The butter will keep
    up
    to
    2 days in the refrigerator or can be frozen for future
    use.
    Cut bread lengthwise into halves and spread each half
    with
    softened
    herb butter.
    Put them on a baking sheet and
    toast
    in the oven until crispy.
    Slice and serve immediately.
    After
    cooled,
    this is good served with a cold pasta salad.
