Robin'S Honey Moon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box white cake mix
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 box vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 carton Cool Whip
    1 c. pecans
    1 small bag coconut
    cherries (whole)
Preparation
    Bake cake.
    Bring pineapple and sugar to boil.
    Pour vanilla over pineapple and sugar after cake cools.
    Mix Cool Whip and sour cream and put over cake.
    Cover with nuts and coconut.
    Top with cherries.
