Cheese Twists - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. pie crust mix
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    5 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Empty pie crust mix into a large mixing bowl.
    Add cheese and mix in with a fork.
    Sprinkle water over one tablespoon at a time. Mix lightly with a fork just until mixture holds together and leaves sides of bowl clean.
    Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut rings with small doughnut cutter or 2 different sizes of round cutters.
    Cut remaining pastry into 1/2-inch wide strips about 6 inches long.
    Twist strips once or twice and place 1 inch apart on large cookie sheets.
    Bake in a hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove carefully and cool on wire rack.
    When cool, thread 2 or 3 strips through each ring and arrange on serving dish.
    Makes about 3 dozen sticks and 12 rings.
