Cajun Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 carrot, finely chopped
    8 ripe tomatoes or 1 large
    28 oz. can tomatoes, chopped
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. pasta (penne or ziti)
    Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cumin
Preparation
    Brown onion, pepper, celery and carrot in olive oil.
    When soft and slightly browned, add tomatoes and spices.
    Cook on low.
