Forgotten Beef Stew("A Favorite From The '76 Cookbook.") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    1 onion, sliced
    6 carrots, cut in chunks
    several stalks celery, cut
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca
    3/4 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Put meat in baking dish and spread with onions, then rest of vegetables.
    Blend salt, sugar and tapioca.
    Spread over ingredients in pan.
    Pour liquid over all.
    Cover pan with foil. Crimp to seal.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 hours.
