Ingredients

4 c. (1 lb.) cranberries
1 c. seedless raisins
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. water
1 medium-sized onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
1 medium-sized apple, pared and chopped
1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced
Preparation

Combine cranberries, raisins, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and water in a large saucepan.
Cook 15 minutes, until berries pop and mixture thickens.
Stir in onion, apple and celery; simmer 15 minutes longer, or until mixture is thick.
Cool; refrigerate. Makes 4 cups.
Serve with poultry or pork.
