Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    vegetable cooking spray
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Add egg, milk and oil; stir until batter is smooth.
    Coat a cast-iron corn stick pan with cooking spray.
    Heat in a 425\u00b0 oven for 3 minutes or until hot.
    Remove pan from oven.
    Spoon batter into pan, filling 2/3 full.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until bread is lightly browned.
    Yield:
    1 dozen (81 calories per corn stick).
