Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked, drained and cooled
1 c. Miracle Whip
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 (6 oz. or more) pkg. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
8 strips bacon, cooked and broken into bits or use Bac*Os or crumbles
Preparation

Shred lettuce coarsely with knife.
Fill serving dish 1/2 full of lettuce.
In layers sprinkle the green pepper, onion and celery. Add peas.
Spread Miracle Whip and sour cream mixed together by hand over the peas.
Sprinkle sugar over this.
Sprinkle Cheddar cheese, then bacon over top.
Cover tightly with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Serves 8 to 10.
