Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or bacon drippings
    4 c. rice water or vegetable stock
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook onions and butter or drippings in covered saucepan, shaking pan often.
    When onions are tender, add rice water or stock.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Add seasonings and chopped parsley.
