Dennis' All-American Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
    1 c. butter
    1 c. half and half or 2% milk
    1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Important to scald cream with butter; add to thoroughly mixed dry ingredients.
    Mix in eggs.
    Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Allow to stand for several minutes before cutting.
    Yields 12 servings.
