Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. sugar
dash of pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
2 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. celery
2 or 3 potato cubes
2 onions, quartered
3 carrots, sliced thin
Preparation

Put first four ingredients in pan which oil has been added; brown meat.
Add water, bouillon cubes, cover and simmer one hour. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, celery, potatoes, onions and carrots.
Cover and simmer one hour or until vegetables are tender.
Thicken with flour, water mixture.
