Strawberry Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/3 c. Karo light syrup
1/4 c. crushed strawberries
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 drops red food coloring (optional)

Preparation

Stir together first 3 ingredients.
Add strawberries.
Bring to boil 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Strain. Stir in juice and coloring.
Cool slightly.
Arrange whole strawberries on cheese cake.
Cover with glaze.
