Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chopped onions
    3 to 4 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 1 can mushrooms
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 qt. stewed tomatoes
    1 c. rice
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Place mixture in large greased casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, leaving cover off last 15 minutes.
    This may have meat added by using 1 pound browned ground beef and crumbling bacon over top.
