Death Row Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped (with juices)
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder (or to taste)
    garlic powder to taste
    fresh, diced jalapenos or crushed dried chilies (use as much as you wish, but remember what happens the next morning; hence the name of death row)
    1 to 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
    oregano and salt (optional and/or to taste)
    1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce (optional; I like adding this)
Preparation
    Add all
    ingredients in a bowl, mixing well.
    Chill and serve. This is best if used the same day.
