Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

vegetable oil spray
1 c. dark molasses
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. acceptable vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Lightly spray an 8-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil.
In a large bowl, blend together molasses, brown sugar, oil and spices.
Stir in boiling water.
Mix in flour; set aside.
In a small bowl, dissolve baking soda in 2 tablespoons hot water; stir to mix well.
Add to batter.
Bake in prepared baking pan 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and slice into 12 equal portions.
Serve warm.
