Strawberry Shortcut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 c. frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Generously grease bottom only of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle marshmallows on bottom of pan.
    In a bowl, combine strawberries, syrup and gelatin thoroughly; set aside.
