Chicken Imperial - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce
1/2 c. dry sherry
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken parts or breasts

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except chicken and salt, in saucepan and blend over medium heat for 2 to 5 minutes, until smooth.
Salt chicken on both sides and place in an ungreased oblong pan, skin side down.
Brush chicken generously with sauce, using about 3/4 of sauce.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Uncover, turn chicken and add the rest of the sauce and continue baking for 30 minutes or until tender.
Yield: 4 servings.
