Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomato sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf.
    Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan; blend in flour.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Slowly add hot tomato mixture, stirring constantly.
    Use a whisk to stir this helps.
