Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    2 to 3 carrots, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) fryer chicken
    4 c. water
    1 c. noodles
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in crock-pot, except for noodles.
    Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (on high 4 to 6 hours).
    One hour before serving, remove chicken from bone, return meat to crock-pot and add noodles.
    Turn on high, cover and cook 1 hour more.
