Zucchini Burger Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. thinly sliced zucchini
    12 oz. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. cooked rice
    4 oz. (1/2 c.) tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. cottage cheese
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Cook zucchini, uncovered, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Drain.
    Cook meat, onions and garlic until meat is brown and onions transparent. Stir cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano into meat mixture.
    Combine egg, cottage cheese and shredded cheese.
    Layer in casserole dish zucchini sprinkled with salt, meat mixture, cheese mixture and another layer of zucchini.
    Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle cheese around edge.
    Bake 10 more minutes.
    Serves 4 to 5.
