Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. small okra pods
    1 pt. white vinegar
    1 qt. water
    1/3 c. salt
    3 small hot peppers (if desired)
    1 clove garlic
    2 tsp. dill seed
Preparation
    Peel okra tightly in jars.
    Put garlic cloves in each jar and pour boiling brine over okra in jar and seal. Hot water bath for 10 minutes in simmering water.
    Let sit several weeks before opening.
