Manhattan Meat Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
2/3 or 3/4 c. milk
1 lb. hamburger

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder
and 1/2 teaspoon salt into a mixing bowl.
Cut in
shortening
with
pastry
blender
until mixture resembles a fine meal.
Add
milk
all at once and mix to form a soft dough.
Use a lightly floured board.
Put dough on the floured board and
knead lightly about 20 times.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake
in
400\u00b0
oven
for 10 to 15 minutes.
