Chocolate Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 small can evaporated milk
    6 oz. bag chocolate chips
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 bag Kraft caramels
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to directions on box.
    Pour 1/2 into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels and margarine and can of milk in microwave and pour over baked cake, add chips, if desired.
    Add remaining cake batter and finish baking 30 more minutes.
