Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    3 red apples (unpeeled), diced
    small marshmallows
    pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix together apples, pineapple, small marshmallows and chopped pecans.
    Cook until thick the sugar, juice from pineapple, salt, cornstarch, egg, butter and vinegar. Let cool and pour over apple mixture.
    Refrigerate.
